'Six Inches of Soil'
On Thursday 16th January Rosuick Farm hosted a screening of the documentary, 'Six Inches of Soil'. The event was jointly organized by Wildlife Groundswell and Helston & St Keverne Young Farmers and was very well attended, with around sixty people enjoying a chat and a pasty before watching the film and then participating in a panel-led discussion.
The film follows three inspiring British farming families standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food. It explains the importance of soil health in producing high quality food sustainably, and the many positive effects of farming regeneratively.
